Trio is a memory and deduction game that won the 2024 Game of the Year award (Jeu de l\u2019Ann\u00e9e), in which players must guess which numbers are hidden under cards placed face down. On their turn, each player reveals two cards, chosen from the table or from an opponent\u2019s hand, but can only take that opponent\u2019s lowest or highest visible card. When the two revealed cards show the same number, the player goes again and gets closer to forming a trio, three identical cards that win them the game. The game offers a simple mode and a spicier \u201cPicante\u201d mode, as well as a team variant, for 3 to 6 players from age 7 in 10 to 15 minutes.<\/p>\n
